Children's education in Korea is mostly restricted to the acquisition of knowledge and application of such knowledge principally to do well academically. We believe that these qualities are important but other facets of education cannot be ignored. Instilling a mindset in children that:

▣ makes them willing and able learners for the rest of their lives;
▣ gives the children the confidence to pursue their goals; and
▣ makes them socially responsible for their action

should all be part of children's education, and in many ways, should be its most important part. Many educational approaches offer creative ways of acquiring knowledge and creativity, but few offer these important attributes. We believe that High/Scope differs from other methods as it offers a mix of all these essential ingredients that may dramatically improve the life chances of young children.

Our vision is to improve the way young children are taught in Korea so that they become lifetime learners. We believe that the life chances of children will be improved dramatically, if they have the confidence to think on their own, and take responsible action to achieve their goals. Such an attitude will lead to greater life fulfillment as the children become more proactive with their studies and their lives.
